 | Black & Decker F1060 Steam Advantage Iron with Stainless-Steel Soleplate
1st one died, 2nd one died -- 2010-08-31 Ok, so I buy one, it dies after 4 months...then I buy the exact one, thinking that the first was a fluke, and the 2nd one dies after 6 months of use. AVOID THE HEADACHE.
Overall good iron -- 2010-08-30 Price is great, stainless steel plate works great on my fabric without too much damage. The only small issue is that the dial is a bit stiff to turn. A design flaw. I think ridges may have helped to turn the dials a little easier than the rubberized version they have here. Overall, I can't complain though as the price is worth it.

 | Black & Decker D6000 All-Temp Steam Iron with Stainless-Steel Soleplate
Black & Decker D6000 iron -- 2010-08-16 We were very impressed at the extremely fast warm up time with this iron, especially compared to our last B&D iron. Very happy with this purchase. Would recommend this model very highly to others.
Great value -- 2010-06-12 Right now there is no "perfect" iron on the market at any price, but for this price, this is one of the best deals I've seen in a long time. I am a professional quilter and purchase at least one iron a year if not more. This iron does a better job at steam than I've seen in my irons for the past few years. Nice weight so I only have to guide it, not press on it to get it to iron. With the volumne of pressing I do, I can not have an iron I have to manually apply pressure to get it to work right. I do wish the iron's sole plate was a bit larger. I also had to purchase (from another source as Amazon didn't carry one) a teflon heat-proof mat so I could lay the iron flat to add water. I noticed these days a lot of irons require being flat to fill, not a fan, but found the mat at Walmart cheap. Only time will tell if this is a good of iron as it appears. If it still works a year from now, yet, two years, fantastic.
My last two irons were the EuroPros which imho is a fantastic iron, it has weight, does a great job in pressing and steaming, but each one only lasted about 9-10 months before the iron would just go off and not come on again. No warning, one minute it works, the next it doesn't. Great iron, but after having two go belly up (and another friend's EuroPro did the same thing), I decided I needed to look for another brand. Not a fan of Rowentas but... bought the expensive Rowenta Pro. It only lasted two weeks before it leaked like a sieve and was returned for a full refund. The other problem with the Pro was the super thick, stiff and unmoving power cord. It made the iron hard to move and the cord was always in the way.
For the price, this is a good deal.

 | Black & Decker F67E The Classic Iron with Aluminum Soleplate
iron -- 2010-08-31 THis iron is really great. It is all steel. If your trying to find an iron it would be best to use Black and Decker the classic Iron.
Not As Good As It Used To Be -- 2010-08-23 I had one of these irons before; it was great, but I dropped it too many times. The new one doesn't heat up as well, and the auto cut-off feature keeps it from steaming consistently Definitely a design flaw. Yoo Hoo Black and Decker. Are you listening?

 | Black & Decker D5500 Digital Evolution 1500-Watt Steam Iron with Ceramic Soleplate
Great value for money, best experience with built-in steamer -- 2010-09-01 I used to have an iron with a separate water tank for steaming and this iron is just a temporary solution, but I was surprised how great it works. Warms up in about a minute, the digital selection is easy to be done with one hand, steam is ready in a minute as well. I will use it just for a limited time period, but I'll definitely get a same one once I move to another place.
Steam Iron -- 2010-05-06 Right price, right size and weight. Steams well!! I've even started to look forward to ironing my husbands shirts!!

 | Black & Decker X50 Travel Pro Iron, White
A good companion for a travel -- 2010-08-27 After researching on Internet I bought this iron. It is small but very effective if you don't need to iron too many clothes. It is a good companion for every travel.
Do Not Buy -- 2010-07-21 I purchased this iron for my vacation. The first time I tried to use it I discovered that it would not produce steam. The steam chamber is filled through the handle. Water that entered the handle did not reach the reservoir in the sole plate. No Steam! It was defective on arrival. DOA.
I was unable to get a full refund from Amazon because more than 30 days had elapsed. (I bought the iron for vacation and had put it in the closet unused. I never expected it would have to be tested).
I later called Black & Decker about this iron and was informed that it was discontinued in 2007. No where on the website do they tell you this. The iron was Made in China and is of poor quality. Do Not Buy!

 | Black & Decker F920 Light 'N Easy Iron, White
Splish Splash. Am I ironing or taking a bath with this iron? I can't tell. -- 2009-12-16 I received my Black & Decker Light'N Easy Iron as a gift. I hate it!
I spend 6+ hours a week ironing for a family of four, so having a good iron is a must. This iron is lightweight, and doesn't get too hot even on max. It would be perfect except for one fatal flaw. The opening for the water reserve is awkward to use when filling the iron and even if I only fill it a quarter to max, it sloshes out water every time I move my hand. I was forced to keep a towel handy to wipe up the gushes (not dribbles) of water. I also worried constantly about inadvertently being electrocuted by the iron because of all of the water that leaks out of the opening.
I used this iron exactly the way the manufacturer intended. I have to guess that whoever designed the Light'N Easy never actually used it, or it never would have made it onto the store shelves.
There are plenty of irons in this price range that do a good job. Do yourself a favor and buy one of those, don't waste your money on the Light'N Easy.
Ordinarily I'd send something I don't need on to Goodwill, but I'm going to probably throw it out because I wouldn't give it to my worst enemy.
BLACK & DECKER LIGHT N EASY IRON -- 2009-09-01 THIS IS THE WORST IRON I HAVE EVER USED. IT LEAKS FROM THE TOP PORT CONSTANTLY, LEAVING WATER EVERWHERE, ON MY CLOTHES, THE IRONING BOARD AND EVEN MY HAND. OF COURSE, I WILL NEVER USE THIS IRON AGAIN. I WILL HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER IRON AND IT CERTAINLY WON'T BE A BLACK & DECKER!!!!!!!!!!!!

 | Black & Decker AS75 Quickpress Iron with Variable Steam and Nonstick Soleplate
A few problems with this iron. It doesn't get hot enough, the spray leaks and mostly doesn't work. Net result your clothes ar -- 2010-07-29 A few problems with this iron. It doesn't get hot enough, the spray leaks and mostly doesn't work. The steam is OK, but the net result is that our clothes are still somewhat wrinkled when you are finished.
In conclusion, I would say it is the worst iron I have ever had and I have ironed for 50 years!
Awful iron -- 2010-01-01 This iron is awful. It is near impossible to get water into the water opening. This is not an exaggeration- I spent 10 minutes trying to get water in and it after 10 minutes, the tank wasn't even 1/10th full. The water just sits on the top and doesn't go down.
Luckily, I only spent $5 on this iron and use it as a backup for when my other crappy Black & Decker iron breaks (which occurs on a yearly basis- fortunately, they've been replacing them under warranty).

 | Black & Decker ICR500 First Impressions Cord-Reel Iron with Nonstick Soleplate
Awful sole plate -- 2010-08-18 I've been ironing for more than 25 years and *never* had a problem with residue on a sole plate until we bought this model. Fabric sticking to the iron is a constant problem. If you're going to buy this, order some Faultless Hot Iron Cleaner at the same time. You will need it often.
Although we had the iron for only a short time before replacing it, the retractable cord also did not work well. We had our previous iron for many years and never had so much trouble getting the retraction mechanism to work completely.
I like it -- 2010-04-07 I really like this iron. I love green so it was the perfect color and it does its job. It heats up quickly and is nice and heavy so it will knock out any wrinkles in its path. The only thing I really don't like about the iron is the retractable cord. As stated before, sometimes it gets stuck right smack in the middle. It also can't fit on the shelf in my hallway closet because it is slightly too large standing up.
Despite those minor setbacks it is very easy to handle. Doesn't have the list of materials like most other irons to guide you (cotton, nylon, etc.) but like I said if you have been ironing long enough then you will have no problem using this one.

 | Black & Decker Digital Smart Steam Iron
Hotstuff -- 2010-06-24 This iron is great!! I do a lot of home sewing, and I need a very good iron to set in most of my designs. I love this iron. I have used a pro-express, and sharp. This iron far exceeds all I have tried. Good work Black & Decker..you got this one RIGHT!!
so far, not good -- 2010-03-14 I just used this for the first time, and can't get it to stop beeping. B&D customer service told me to try again after having it turned off for 30 minutes. It didn't work. Now I have to try to get it returned . . .
