 | Tobi Quick Travel Steamer
tobi travel steam iron -- 2010-03-05 I haven't used this product yet because I have not traveled anywhere since purchasing it. But I also bought the regular Tobi Steam and it is great. I had one before purchasing this one. I would not go back to a regular iron at all.
Nice try but save your money -- 2010-01-29 Called the company to get a refund and the company said they will have a rep call back. No one called after two days of this defective unit still does't work. Please do not buy this junk.

 | Scunci SS1000 Hand-Held Steamer - 1000w
Great little steamer, used it for years! -- 2009-11-15 I purchased the Scunci Steamer about 7 years ago when I got my first apartment. One apartment and 2 homes later and I still love it! It's great to get dirt, mildew, and stains in corners and crevices of areas like around the tub/tile and where the stove and countertops meet. I've used it for many things from removing dirt and mildew in the bathroom from toothbrush holders, the corners of drains, and the shower head, to cleaning drip pans, mildew in the corners of the refrigerator seal and shelves, and inside the oven, to sanitizing pet toys and food bowls. It just takes a few minutes to heat the water and it's ready to go. The wire scrub attachment is also great to clean outdoor grills. I've also used the steaming attachment to get the wrinkles out of clothes, especially things like silk that you can't use an iron on. This is the only steam cleaner i've ever used, so I can't compare the performance to more expensive steamers. But for the price I can say it's well worth it.
ackward to use and heavy -- 2009-09-15 I was very impressed with the commercial on the scunci steamer, ha. As nothing ever works like the infomercial Its heavy, hard to hold and clean at the same time. Gets very hot, can't hold against the body and steam runs out long before the job is done. Then you have to let it cool before filling with water again. Good idea but not really practical.

 | Portable Fabric Steamer
Steamer for use with sugar flowers -- 2010-02-03 In addition to its normal use for fabric steaming, I use my steamer for my sugar flowers. Specifically, I use it after I dust my flowers with petal or luster dust to seal the colors in the sugar art. It's a wonderful tool, very useful and very handy.

 | Scunci Hand Held Steamer Kit SS1000 ASOT Home Cleaner
while it technically works ... it really doesn't for the job in hand. -- 2010-01-17 Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R20X04LMKE2MJQ it does what it says.
for very very small jobs.
just how small? probably the size of your hand. anything more and you'll be working for an eternity.
$123.99 is ridiculous!!! Do not purchase from Action Packaged!!! -- 2009-07-19 I bought this same steamer WITH the floor kit 4 to 5 years ago regular price at $40. Action Packaged, Inc should be absolutely ASHAMED of themselves for charging this price for a $40 steamer. Mine even came with a strap so I could put it on my shoulder. At the price I paid, I got what I paid for - an okay, inexpensive steamer.
There are several steamers within the same $40 price range that have similarly designed steamers; SteamFast SF-226 Handheld Steam Cleaner is one and it sells for $35 with free shipping. To be completely honest, I wish I would have bought a higher priced steamer (around $100) like the McCulloch MC-1275 Heavy Duty Steam Cleaner for three reasons: accessories, capacity and ease of use.
The brush head on the Scunci (and similar models) is way too small for large-scale cleaning. The circumference of the brush head is about the size of a quarter. That's nice for working in small areas, but if your are trying to clean something larger it takes forever. In my opinion, spending money on a steamer is supposed to SAVE time. (The McCulloch and a couple of other models have much larger cleaning brush heads along with the smaller ones.)
The capacity of the Scunci is way too small and you have to refill it often. That means you have to let the unit cool for 5 minutes, fill it, and wait to get steam again. It is fine if you have other things to do, but I just want to get my house clean. Again, I bought a steamer to save time.
Last, I would prefer to have a model that sits on the floor so that my hands are free to clean. With this steamer, you have to hold the steamer in one hand so that you can press the trigger and hold the wand in the other hand. It just makes an easy task difficult. Putting the trigger on the wand would have been much more practical.
If you can get it at a similar price that I did and that's all that is in your budget to pay, then this isn't a bad option at all, but know that you will probably want to save up for a better steamer and pass this one along to someone else.

 | Rowenta Rowenta DG5030 Pressure Iron and Steamer
Good thing I got it for free -- 2009-12-01 I won one of these and I was so excited to finally get a Rowenta. I like it for free, but if I had purchased it for $175 it would have gone back the next day.
Bulky, a handle would have been nice.
Ran out of steam with a full tank after just a half hour of steaming.
Can't see the water level.
Takes a long time heat up to steam, steam isn't consistent.
Leaked a little but I hadn't let it heat up long enough. 'Red' light went off and on a lot, didn't keep a consistent heat level to generate steam, I had to wait in between steaming.
But my major concern is that the cord from the base unit to the iron got so hot it actually let a whelt on my leg when I crossed cords. It also turned brown (burn) about a foot's length from the iron downward. Maybe it's just this unit, but I found it to be a very dangerous thing. Anybody else have this happen?
leaks big time -- 2009-09-14 I too had the previous model Rowenta, which worked like a champ with NO leaking. However it died after 5 years and I replaced it with this one. It worked fine for a day and then started leaking. I returned it for another, figuring it was simply a lemon. Unfortunately - same story. Fine for a day, then leaking ever since. I've tried spring water - even though I had used my tapwater in the previous model. Still leaks and leaks to the point it's just not useable. I am so unhappy to be let down by what I thought was such a reliable company/product. Now I'm left either trying to deal with it or spend yet more money (and it won't be on a Rowenta!).

 | Heated Massage Mat with Remote (Black/Grey) (19" W x 65" L)
Uncomfortable and cheap -- 2010-01-21 This item is cheaply made from cheap materials and is very uncomfortable. I can not imagine anyone enjoying even a single minute on it but I can imagine someone throwing out their spine or whatever from being supported in unergonomic ways which is the only way this thing will allow

 | Jiffy ESTEAM Hand-Held Travel Steamer (Pink)
Very Handy -- 2010-02-13 This little steamer works well on synthetic fabrics, but is very disappointing on cottons. After major steaming on cotton shirt, the finish was not smooth and crisp and most of the wrinkles were still intact. Had to resort to regular ironing. A bit disappointing since I primarily purchased steamer to get away from the labour involved in ironing cotton garments.
Works as well as the big guys -- 2010-01-23 This little steamer is a powerhouse. I got rid of my floor model steamer and now only use this one. It uses regular tap water which is nice, and I can pack it in my suitcase for traveling.
