 | Corby 7700 Pants Press
Prior User -- 2010-06-06 My old pants press died on me after years (20+)of faithful service. I wanted to repair it if I could, but I gave up and decided to purchase a new one. So far, the new one has performed as expected. Talk to me in twenty years...
No Way To Get Repaired -- 2010-04-26 The product works well enough, however I have been unable to find a way to get it repaired. I would be satisfied with parts but appearently replacement parts are also unavailable. I first contacted Jerdon at 1-800-223-3571 they are the USA distributers, no help. I then contacted the factory customer service in England, they also said there was no way they could get it repaired nor do they have access to parts. Too bad! I will never buy a Corby product again

 | SteamFast SP-660 Table Top Steam Press
A wonderful Purchase -- 2010-08-31 This is the best thing since my dishwasher. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have everyone try it. It does an excellent joy, plus it makes ironing go twice as fast. I have tried others, but this works better than any I have tried.
Solid so far -- 2010-06-12 Can't say anything con about the SteamFast so far. We've used it quite a bit and haven't found any real drawbacks. Over good little machine. One should keep in mind that this is an entry level machine and therefore priced and sized accordingly. Overall .....good one.

 | Jerdon Corby 4400W Pants Press, Walnut Finish
Awesome if you have the space -- 2010-07-01 I bought this when it was one of the deals of the day at night.
It's pretty simple. You have 2 choices 15 min or 30 min press. You can also cancel them anytime after you've started it. If you have the room this is awesome.
I love the coat hanger aspect so I can put my jacket on it at the end of the day. This is good for the jacket to "air" out, rather than putting it right back in the closet.
This generally works best with normal slacks. Even khaki type of pants work well but not as good as the slacks. It especially gets the wrinkles from behind your knees out. I really hate those wrinkles.

 | Reliable F1 Pantman Digital Pant Press, Grey
good pants press -- 2010-04-05 Not the best pants press I have ever used, but, for sure, it is best I have seen or used in this price range. I think it out perform some we have used in London hotels, that cost a lot more. Does a very good job of keeping a neat press job on my suit pants. It is just so so for wash and wear pants just out of dryer. Depending what you want it to do it can be an excellent purchase.
It works, But takes more than one run -- 2010-02-23 Hey it does work but no worse than my Corby with timer. (Lowest cost Corby)
I have to reset for a second run as I do with the corby. The mounting of the pants is about the same. The price performance is good. It was less than half the price of the corby.
Had a no name hot unit for 20 years my wife purchased at a discount store for $79. That no name did damp wool pants with a perfect crease and had a full one hour timer. It was very hot and probably in danger of setting the house on fire. It took 20 years to finally pop but you only had to set it once.
I suspect there is a lower temp thermistor on these new units and not an extended timmer.
Most likely, even the most expensive $300+ are regulated by the same safety rules.

 | 3 in 1 Pant Press + Valet + Charging Station Built in Charging Station includes 2 regular 2 USB plug,
A little disappointed -- 2010-01-25 First, UPS had it going in circles. It actually hit the original PA site FOUR TIMES before email to UPS finally got it started out of the loop. It took FOREVER to get here. About 3 weeks.
The Smartek ST-X22 does a decent job of pressing pants. It's a good looking item. But the USB outlet isn't working even though the power is plugged in to the wall. There are TWO cords from this thing. One apparently powers the pants press plate and the other powers the AC outlets and USB outlets. That makes it look cluttered wherever you place it. It has to be close to the wall AND have access to 2 AC outlets.
Has plenty of space for coins, etc. I like that a lot. Has a little wooden "lid" which covers that area. Neat!
Is it worth $299?? No, not really. Maybe $150 or $200 at most.
And, I'm going to have to take the electrical area apart and see if I can fix this brand new item so I can use the USB outlets to charge my iPhone.
Would I buy it again? Hmmm... probably not. Or maybe....
My marriage saver! -- 2009-12-07 This product really saved my marriage!
How many times did my wife (sorry sweetie for airing our laundry in public) yell at me for leaving my papers all over the place. That my pants is not folded and the next morning looks like it came out of a thrift store. That I have loose change all over the dresser (choking hazard).
And how about me always looking for my chargers and where I plugged them into - if its my cellphone, blackberry, iPod etc.
Wow!!!
This item was DEFINITELY designed for the guy on the go, a guy who needs it all.
I would highly recommend this product for EVERY guy, young and old. It will make THE BEST GIFT for any guy. Ladies, imagine a clean bedroom without the sight of your husbands pants hanging on a chair (or on the floor) change all over the place etc. Get it for your husband / boy friend - it will be like the time by wife told me when I got home on my birthday "Happy birthday honey, I got you a gift, if you want I can show it to you, give me 2 minutes to put it on." ;-)

 | SteamFast Orion PressPro SF-690 Vertical Dry Pants Press
ripped off -- 2010-08-25 I bought what I thought was a steam press...I have a regular trouser press already.
When it arrived it was v difficult to get out of the box and the box was destroyed.
I found I had been ripped off.
The press was a regulat press from a different manufactueer and had no steam option.
I was too pissed off to have it returned , and threw my old r[press away...NEVER AGAIN AMAZON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic! -- 2006-08-11 Always wanted one and was hesitate to buy one, well I should have bought it long ago! It does a great job while I sit, faster and a great way to do my clothes. They come out better than ironing. The time I save and the sitting to get my pressing done is a blessing. Thank you for making life easier. Irene

 | Corby 3300 Pants Press, Black
Repeat customer -- 2010-06-26 Had this product for about 12 years of reliable service until the plastic legs collapsed and broke. Would suggest that the manufacturer use wooden legs instead. This is the base model of this product, and is all that is really necessary. The more costly versions have variable timers, (15, 30, 45, and 60 minute timers) while this one only has a 30 minute. I can't find any other difference. We are both retired and do not use the jacket press attachment. I heartily recommend this pants presser. We ordered it on Tuesday and it arrived just three days later. Great product and great seller.
Best appliance in the house -- 2009-12-05 A wonderful way to stay always "pressed" and neat. Saves trips to the cleaner and money in the bargain. Good for all material, safe and reliable. Simply put pants in the press at bedtime and they're ready in the morning. (sooner if need be)

 | Taylor STP2000 Home Touch Garment Butler and Pants Press, Brown
Taylor Home Touch Garment Butler -- 2009-11-21 When I received the item it looked like it had been used. Additionally, it was missing a part. That was another indication that the package had been re tapeed. Overall the item that I received was unsatisfactory.

 | Corby 7700 Pants Press Valet Walnut Wood Effect with Black Trim By ChiSupply
Very Happy -- 2010-02-01 15 years ago, I purchased a pants presser/valet at a high-end estate sale, as a bit of a lark. To my surprise, both my wife and I really used and enjoyed it. It worked well for many years (have no idea how much use it got before I purchased it used), but it finally went the way of all things. So, I shopped around to find a replacement. I was surprised to find that there seems to be only one real manufacturer (at least that is all I could find online). I purchased the Corby 7700. Both my wife and I are very happy with it, and have been for the past 7-10 years. We both use it virtually every workday. I highly recommend it.
Corby Trouser Press -- 2010-01-07 This particular item was purchased as a gift for my son. I was encouraged to do it because I have personally used a similar one for about 20 years without experiencing any problems. It is a first rate piece of equipment that has become essential to me in my daily life and my son has already made similar comments since receiving his gift.
