 | Corby 7700 Pants Press
Corby 7700 a winner for well pressed pants -- 2010-02-06 Corby 7700 Pants Press w/ 15/30/45 Min Timer, 17-7/10" W x 5-1/2" D x 43-3/10" H, WalnutThis is an easy to wall mount product or assemble as a stand alone. Once your pants press is ready for use, it is as easy as hanging up a pair of pants. Press the timer button for minutes you want, and get up in the morning with perfectly pressed trousers. This sure beats ironing.
LOOK GOOD AT WORK -- 2009-11-21 I had the same product in England over 30 years ago. It is still wonderful and I go to work with perfect pants every day. It does not use much electricity either or take up much room.

 | Reliable F5 Pantman Digital Pant Press with Jacket Hanger, Walnut
It works, But takes more than one run -- 2010-02-23 Hey it does work but no worse than my Corby with timer. (Lowest cost Corby)
I have to reset for a second run as I do with the corby. The mounting of the pants is about the same. The price performance is good. It was less than half the price of the corby.
Had a no name hot unit for 20 years my wife purchased at a discount store for $79. That no name did damp wool pants with a perfect crease and had a full one hour timer. It was very hot and probably in danger of setting the house on fire. It took 20 years to finally pop but you only had to set it once.
I suspect there is a lower temp thermistor on these new units and not an extended timmer.
Most likely, even the most expensive $300+ are regulated by the same safety rules.
Pants Press -- 2010-02-12 The pant press is ok for $99 you get what you paid for, major issue is the material on the inside where the slacks are pressed is very difficult to flatten out the pants thus you tend to get wrinkles unless you are very carefull when you close the machine. I have had other pressers and this was not an issue so must be the material they used inside the pressing area.

 | SteamFast SP-660 Table Top Steam Press
Disappointing product and services -- 2010-02-11 I had a difficult time receiving the product, in the first place, due to the outsourcing of services connected to this particular product. Being able to communicate in English was very hard and took up a lot of extra time. That was disappointment number one. When the SteamFast SP-660 Table Top Steam Press finally arrived, it had a part missing (cup for filling water tank for steaming). I didn't bother to report it, because it had already been such a hassle and I found ways to get around it. I've had experience with the more expensive model which is an excellent product. This one looks and "feels" cheaper (and it is). It is also a bit smaller and doesn't do men's pants well. My advice is to go for the more expensive model and forget about this one. It's worth the extra money for the upgraded model.
Makes Me Wonder Why I Took This Long To Purchase. Once You Learn How to Use It, Can't Live Without It! -- 2010-01-28 Now I've had this for 2 months and I feel like I got it down, it's about time to share my experience. I wanted a steam press iron for the longest time, but never came close to actually buying it. Reading reviews game me a second thought also, I waited too long to find out this great invention.
As many says, it is small, but once you get used to it, this size is not too bad. It would be nice to own something like what dry cleaners have, but who knows how much that would cost and I don't want to give up that much space in my house either. So, for the price, I take this size and think this is a wonderful addition to my life.
After trying a few different things along with some mistakes, I found the following things that might help others.
1. Keep your regular iron and don't throw it away. Although I barley use it now, some clothes are much easier to work with a regular iron.
2. To activate steam, press the red button on either side of the handle (took me for a while to realize it wasn't automatic)
3. Use a sprayer (included) as soon as it gets to the temperature instead of waiting for steam to be ready. You can save some energy!
4. Place a cloth over on any "printed" part. I was too lazy to do this and print got on the ironing surface and now it won't come off....
5. Use a bigger pillow than what comes with and read manual to learn how to use it. This is a very good trick that I would never thought of if I didn't read the manual (found it while searching for activating the steam). With a pillow, you can iron almost anything without pulling out your regular iron from closet. Find a bigger pillow, it saves your time that you don't have to move around so often.
6. Place clothes all the way back and pull forward as you are working. By doing this, it gets less wrinkles.
7. Don't need to buy a Steam Press Stand unless you really want it. I've read reviews and decided to use a table with fold-able legs and it works fine with me.
8. Finally, don't put it on a ironing board, instead, place it on a table and sit down on a chair. Steam Press Stand only comes in one height (have to sit down) and many people wondered why it wasn't adjustable. So, I tried both ways and found out that you have a less chance to burn your hands if you are sitting. It just gives you a better angle for your hands to access to clothes.

 | Corby 3300 Pants Press Valet Walnut Wood Effect with Black Trim
pants press -- 2008-11-26 Years ago these presses were great. Now after short use they fail to do their job. The pants have irregular wrinkles and do not press well. Called the new company that imports them and found that there are no replacement parts for this. The price is steep for an irregular press. Suggest that you look for a different brand, or just send the pants to the cleaners. lglass
A Real Time Saver -- 2008-02-09 This can make your suit, pants, slacks, look just like they came from the cleaners in less than 30 minutes-------or overnight--------a "personal groomer"

 | SteamFast Orion PressPro SF-690 Vertical Dry Pants Press
Fantastic! -- 2006-08-11 Always wanted one and was hesitate to buy one, well I should have bought it long ago! It does a great job while I sit, faster and a great way to do my clothes. They come out better than ironing. The time I save and the sitting to get my pressing done is a blessing. Thank you for making life easier. Irene
only damaged items shipping -- 2005-03-17 I bought this pant press because it was so much cheaper than the Corby. The first time, it arrived with damaged packaging and a cracked board. Amazon's replacement unit arrived with ... damaged packaging and a cracked board! On closer inspection, there are many chips in the wood indicating that this is a refurbished or used item.
In fact, Amazon admits that the problem is so wide-spread that it cannot replace my item yet again. So, if you want to have a shiny new undamaged pant press, you might want to go for a different product.
