 | Lasko 754200 Ceramic Heater with Adjustable Thermostat
Lasko Ceramic Heater -- 2010-03-05 I love this heater. I had one for years and dropped it. It still worked except that it didn't heat as well. I finally found one here and had to have it. I expect this heater to last for many years to come.
great for the price -- 2010-03-03 I took this heater to work for my office. It has traveled to every office in my work place. It works great and we need to purchase more.

Really Like Looks but Thermostat Sticks -- 2010-03-09 Best looking unit that I was able to find. It is a combination of radiant and convection heater so while is warming the room, it will "throw" heat to where you are.
The rating was set to mid-level because the thermostat sticks in the off position. Resetting only happens after a hard whack to the unit. So I had to turn it all the way up to prevent the unit from shutting off and maybe not turning back on.
Works as advertised -- 2010-03-08 The heater works as advertised and although it doesn't have a readable thermostat it's fairly easy to achieve a comfortable temperature and then set the heater to maintain it. I also like the two levels of energy use allowing you to use 750w or 1500w depending on your situation. It's quiet and appears to be saving us some nickels on our energy costs.

 | Lasko 5367 16-1/2-Inch Oscillating Ceramic Tower Heater
Amazing -- 2010-03-08 This is the most amazing one room heater! I've tried a few so far over the years and have never been so impressed until now. Highly recommended =) It doesn't take long at all to heat up either! Other heaters have taken about 30 minutes to notice a difference. Well, that's all i really wanted to share. Thank you!
All around great heater. -- 2010-03-07 I purchased two of these heaters this winter. They have worked great. They may not be 100% silent, but they are about as quiet as you can get for a space heater with a fan. I use one on the low setting in my two stall detached garage to keep it at about 45 degrees. I use the other in a 21' x 11' room in the house. It easily and quickly warms this room. I only have a couple of little complaints. The oscillating feature is nice for heat distribution, but the arc range that it sweeps could be greater. Also, it doesn't have tip over safety protection. It only has overheat protection. These cons are not enough to drop it from 5 to 4 stars, though.
I have tried a couple of different space heaters over the years. I had some digital resistive element Vornados. They heated the room and moved the air nice, but they all just up and died. Too bad too, because they were not cheap. I had a digital Holmes that worked like and had all the same features as the Vornados, but it too died. I have a Pelonis Safe-T ceramic heater. It still functions and puts out good heat, but it is pretty loud. When it comes to space heaters, what I have concluded is that digitally controlled heaters are not reliable. I think the circuitry just can't handle the elevated case temperatures. Since I haven't had the Laskos very long, I can't speak for their durability, but I think the manual thermostat will mean longer life. Overall, these Lasko heaters do it all at a good price. And, I won't feel as sick if they fail as I did with the Vornados.

 | Optimus H-5210 Infrared Quartz Radiant Heater
It works! -- 2010-03-09 I bought this during the heavy snow days. It is small but it really works well. You just need to keep it close to you so that you can feel the heat. I like the fact that it is also energy efficient.
Good for the money -- 2010-03-08 I wanted a cheap option to heat the bedroom without having to turn up the thermostat and overheat the entire house. I chose this based on other reviews and the price.
It works ok.
On the 400W setting you couldn't really tell it was on unless it was right near the bed. I assume in a smaller room this setting would be useful but I didn't try it anywhere else.
On the 800W setting the unit itself heats up fast but took about 45 minutes to elevate the room temperature noticeably.
Overall if I had to buy again I would buy a unit that went to 1500W and had a circulation fan built in. For the price this unit works fairly well.

Toasty Porch Now -- 2010-03-09 Bought this for our 17'x19' sunroom. This winter has been cold in Central FL so we could not use the room much at all this Winter. No retail stores had heaters in stock, but they already had sunscreen, beach chairs and flip-flops on display!. This heater got it toasty warm in no time. As some had advised about a smell when you 1st use it, I placed on on the outside covered back porch for several hours and ran it on high. There is still a slight smell, but nothing unbearable.
Relief! -- 2010-02-22 We live in a condominium building whose heating system blows hot air from the vents. It is very dry, feels unhealthy, and actually gives me a queasy stomach. Most of the time we don't have to turn the heat on at all because the warmth from surrounding apartments is sufficient. But my rather small study has always been a problem because, with cross-ventilation, it can get quite drafty. I had just about given up when I decided to buy this DeLonghi TRD0715T Safe Heat-Oil-Filled Radiator. I was immediately impressed. The warmth it produces is so much more pleasant, and it is sufficient for my study, especially when, on very cold days, I shut the door. Generally, once the room heats up, I can turn the heater back to #1 or, occsionally, on #2 for most of the day and late into the evening. I grew up with radiator heating and didn't appreciate how effective a system it was. Now I know!

 | DeLonghi DFH132 SafeHeat Fan Heater
A heater is supposed to... heat -- 2010-02-24 Not only does it have a very strong plastic odor that is overwhelming but it does not put out much heat at all. It barely blows out and I have to be inches from it to feel any heat what-so-ever. I would send it back but I really dont want to bother with all that. I would choose another heater for sure.
works so well I bought 2 -- 2010-02-18 got this to use in my baby's room almost 3 years ago, I use it to keep the room comfortable using either fan or heat. Its so quite and I get really good results with regulating the room tempature. I have no concerns about its saftey the cord is very sturdy and the plastic housing does not get hot. I bought a second one for baby number 2's bedroom and have the same great results.

 | Holmes HCH4953-U Ultra Quiet Dual Ceramic Heater with 1Touch® Electronic Thermostat
the best money ever spent on home electrics -- 2010-03-08 Really good, really simple, really quite.
Heats up the room fast .
Thank you - whoever designed it!
Great condition and works well, but slow delivery. -- 2010-03-07 The heater came later than I expected and there was no way I could track the product since the seller didn't put a good tracking number (if it was real). I tried contacting the seller, but they didn't respond. I did get it in good condition and it works great.

 | Lasko 755320 Ceramic Tower Heater with Digital Display and Remote Control
Excellent product except the handle -- 2010-03-08 I love this new heater. It's got everything I ever want in a heater...except the handle. It's got an awkward handle that loses grip all the time if i want to move it around the house. Otherwise, a perfect heater. Works really fast, size is excellent, it's attractive and does not take up alot of spaces unlike some other heaters i've seen.
Great heater! -- 2010-03-07 This space heater works great! It oscillates if you wish, which really helps to spread the heat around a room. Also like the two different energy settings as well as a timer function to have the heater automatically shut off after a specified period of time. All things considered, for the money I don't think you'll find a better heater to help heat up your room!

 | DeLonghi DCH1030 Ceramic Heater with Adjustable Thermostat
greenhouse heater -- 2010-03-05 This small heater with fan was recommended for my greenhouse. It works great! The fan keeps the air moving so all the plants benefit.
Thermostat Doesn't Work At All -- 2010-02-28 Aside from being noisy, the thermostat on this little heater is non-functional. Turn the knob until the heater just cuts off and it will never turn on again! Turn the knob until it turns on and it will run continuously, forever. There must be about a 20 degree F window on this thermostat which makes it nothing more than a redundant on/off switch. While the unit puts out a lot of heat, I would not recommend it.

 | DeLonghi EW7707CM Oil-filled Radiator with ComforTemp Technology
If you are experiencing a louding clicking noise after not using for a long time.. -- 2010-03-07 Just posting this for trouble shooting. I was getting a loud clicking noise while operating my Delonghi 6705L heater. In order to solve the problem I had to take apart the entire unit, disconnect all the electric wires and remove the heater coil from the resevior using a pair of channel lock pliers. You'll need to break the o-ring seal on the unit in order to remove the heater coil. I would not recommend this to the inexperienced user. If you do try it make sure to clean the metal o-ring sealing surface with a piece of fine sand paper before scewing the heater coil back in. Once assembled run the unit on high for a while and make sure that there is no oil leaking from the area.
I like it ... -- 2010-03-02 Although it takes a little while to feel the room heat up, this product does well in keeping a room warm once it "hits its mark". I like the controls that can regulate the temperature. Once you have the atmosphere you want you can either "notch down" on the watts or the dial; so it's not always pulling max electric energy, you can press the ComforTemp button. It's quiet and portable. So far, so good - I like it ...
