Great product - does what it was designed to do - good source of pleasant heat for
my wooden chair repair service. The shop is very small, so i generally turn on "my Buddy" for about `15 mins, then off - to save fuel.

Room Heater a little loud -- 2010-04-14
I got this unit for my basement approx 14 x 30'. It does keep the basement a nice temperature - set the thermostat - nice! BUT the fan became quite loud. Not bad with the TV on, but is somewaht distracting when it is quiet. Good for the price, however could be designed to operate more quietly.

I purchased two of these items for my tenant. I don't have direct knowledge of how they are performing, but have not had any complaints from my tenant about the condo being 'cold', so they must be working well.
Crap -- 2010-03-14
It's noisey and made very cheaply. I had mine on a table top, it vibrated off and fell on the floor. Needless to say, it started actually burning and now is out of commission. Horrible.

After reading reviews of various products I decided on Mr. Heater Double Tank-Top Propane Heater - 8,000-28,000 BTU, Model# MH24T. I like it so much I bought a second. They both sing to you for a short period of time. Otherwise, they are quiet and put out enough heat we have not yet needed more than the lowest setting. The heater is also much easier to place the tank. All you need is one wrench to tighten the hose.

Beware Honeywell/Kax Heater nearly burned down my House -- 2009-12-29
I purchase 2 units just like this. (not from this seller)
The thermostat stopped working on both of them in about the same time period @1 month. They in turn overheated and nearly caused an electrical fire, thank goodness my wife was home to see what was happening.
I called HoneyWell/Kaz (the real company name is KAZ Inc I found out, but they kept the Honeywell name for obvious reasons). They were extremely defensive and told me to send the heaters back for refund and that they would conduct a FULL-Analysis and get back to me. When I called back later they could hardly remember me or the problem and I was shuffled me into Voice-mail, I must have called 7 times. I then called the Fed Trade Commission to issue a consumer warning against this product, they immediately sent someone over to review the damage and file a report.
The FTC called Honeywell/Kaz and demanded the defective heaters be sent to them, but lucky for Kaz (I sarcastically write) they had disposed of them and would not produce any such defective products. The FTC said big companies often try to get the product back so that no formal un-biased review can be performed on the product, I will be happy to provide names of individuals both at Honeywell/Kaz and the FTC, so you may corroberate these claims.
Beware these things are dangerous in my Experience, (2 of them!).

Good heater for a bedroom -- 2010-01-16
I've had this heater for about a week and it works very well. It's silent and heats the room evenly. The instructions are poorly written and don't really say much about the ComforTemp button. All it says is that it is factory preset to reach and maintain a suggested & preset ideal energy-saving temp. It doesn't say what that temp is. Other than that I'm pleased with this heater.

Our first Mr. Heater saw quite a lot of use over the years. This tank-top propane heater comes in handy for multiple uses, so we knew what we wanted. And, that's what we got......another good product. We would recommend it as the best of its kind.

This heater is perfect for office. Perfect for any small space. Absolutely quiet of course as it uses a coil. The dish redirects and focuses the heat well. I thought it will take at least a minute to even show any sign of heat but you can feel it within seconds! Just got it a few hours ago. Lets see how long this one lasts.

I find this product perfect for what I need; a little warmth in the morning, when I get home from work.
It makes absolutely no noise. I haven't had it long enough to know the length of time it will continue to work, but it seems to be having no problems at the moment.
