I ordered this steamer when traveling to my daughters wedding. We were going to use it on the bridesmaids dresses. Guess again! It does not emit enough steam to remove any wrinkles. We ended up ironing the dresses the night before the wedding. Upon arriving home I thought to try it on a couple blouses, light weight fabric. There were no wrinkles removed. It is passed the allowed return time frame....in the trash it goes. A total waste of $35. Don't waste your money on this steamer.

Great space saver for travel. Filling the water is not so easy and finding the angle to put back the top is not so easy. But it does the job!

It works as promised and is sturdy and will last forever. That said, it's pricey for a piece of plywood with cloth on it. If you had a couple hrs and half a handyman mind / the tools, then make it for like $10.

I've just begun sewing and needed an ironing board. I had my old steam iron but no board for years. Attempts on stove top, etc., were never good enough. Also, steam can't be used using stove tops, cutting boards or the like---just creats puddles and wet spots in clothes. I don't want a big board so I thought this looked like a good compromise, and it is. Perfect size, and using table tops gives a good height. Sturdy, yet folds up easily. Hangs on the wall (out of the way). I'll keep mine next to the mop. Couldn't be happier...best $26 I've spent in a long time.

I love this small, sturdy ironing board- I now wear what I want because I do not mind whipping out my little board and getting the job done. It is the perfect solution for small spaces or for those who hate the idea of getting the ironing board out and set up. Definitely 5 stars!!!!

After researching on Internet I bought this iron. It is small but very effective if you don't need to iron too many clothes. It is a good companion for every travel.
Do Not Buy -- 2010-07-21
I purchased this iron for my vacation. The first time I tried to use it I discovered that it would not produce steam. The steam chamber is filled through the handle. Water that entered the handle did not reach the reservoir in the sole plate. No Steam! It was defective on arrival. DOA.
I was unable to get a full refund from Amazon because more than 30 days had elapsed. (I bought the iron for vacation and had put it in the closet unused. I never expected it would have to be tested).
I later called Black & Decker about this iron and was informed that it was discontinued in 2007. No where on the website do they tell you this. The iron was Made in China and is of poor quality. Do Not Buy!

I love this iron!!! The heat is perfect for each setting, it steams just right--not blobs of water left on the fabric. The soleplate is easy to maneuver around seams and small areas, and the handle fits my hand well. I have arthritis in my hands and it is not painful for me to iron with this design.

This does straighten and freshen your clothes. But it does use a lot of water. Also it can be a little frustrating because there is no way of securing the shirt you hang. So it constantly moves and it becomes harder to steam.

I was actually expecting an ironing board that I can hang over a door. Since it did not include any hanging brackets, it is kind of useless. Due to the extremely large packaging it is even a hassle to return.
