Generic Dust Cup Filter For Windtunnel Bagless Canister (Washable)Generic Dust Cup Filter For Windtunnel Bagless Canister (Washable)

Does the job -- 2010-07-21
Works perfectly and washes up just fine. My Windtunnel had quit suctioning even though I would rinse the filter often and thought that it was fairly clean, however, if you don't get down in the grooves, dirt builds up. With this replacement filter, the vac is working great again.

I could not be more pleased. Tried it out last night...fits perfectly into canister..works like a charm! Since I just received it, I have not tried washing it yet but love that it offers this option. Will definitely be ordering again. Thank you.

An extremely satisfied customer,

Eureka 3670 Mighty Mite Canister VacuumEureka 3670 Mighty Mite Canister Vacuum

Awesome little vacuum -- 2010-09-01

First of all this vacuum has 12AMPS of power, and not 9Amps as it says here in Amazon. The suction power is excellent. I have never bought a vacuum cleaner that costed above $300, but up to that price this little thing beats all of my other vacuum cleaners that I purchased previously. Thus, for $67 --- this thing is a bargain compared to other vacuums out there.

The light weight is an additional positive for this little guy. If you have stairs in your house you will love the light weight of this vacuum. You can vacuum the stairs with one hand and hold the vacuum cleaner with the other.

Overall the best vacuum cleaner that I had so far.

GREAT FOR USE IN CARS, BUT LIGHTWEIGHT HOUSEHOLD DUTY ONLY -- 2010-08-01
This is a very lightweight, all plastic vacuum - not really a true canister vac. I purchased this vac solely for use in vacuuming my automobiles and it is perfect for that. The unit is extremely light - perhaps only four pounds or so - meaning that it can easily be lifted and moved around. It is small - about 16 inches long by 6 inches wide by 8 inches tall - so it will easily sit on a car seat while being used. Alternately, the hose in long enough so that the "canister" unit can be left on the ground outside the car.

The angled arm end makes it easy to get under the front car seats while keeping the small head attachment against the carpet for full suction. As well, the small head attachment is double-headed. It features a three inch flat head on one side and a bristled upholstery brush on the other - convenient for flipping between car carpets and upholstery. The only tool that is lacking somewhat is the narrow wand used for getting into tight places. The wand is designed with a notch cut up into it, so you cannot achieve full suction. The bag is large enough that you could vacuum dozens of full sized cars before having to change it. The unit functions perfectly for such use, but it is a bit noisy and gets very hot from even a couple of minutes use. Nevertheless, the light weight, light duty attributes of this vac means that its design functions well for light work such as vacuuming cars.

However, it should be noted that this is a vacuum that costs far less than one hundred dollars, so one should not expect a true, heavy-duty canister vac. It is a very light duty vacuum and not one that I would consider using extensively in my house. The unit is a noisier than mid- or high-end vacuums and at four pounds with rather cheap all-plastic construction with a motor that gets very hot rather quickly, it doesn't have the feel of a vacuum that would last more than a year or two with household use. As well, the full-size floor head is a lightweight plastic unit that attaches via two hard plastic hose lengths - not a fixed, full-size arm - thus use on household carpets or floors would be awkward for some.

I like this unit and am very happy with its performance for the use for which I purchased it, but anyone purchasing it for extensive household use might consider this as an auxillary or supplemental vacuum and not the single unit for such use.

never again!!!!!!!!!!!!! -- 2010-09-01
I will never buy a bissell again! I bought this one in Jan. from amazon and it has been a pain ever since. The brush broke so I went to company and had to buy another that cost me a extra 20 some dollors. Plus the belts keep breaking all the time. I give up Iam going back to a Hoover should have bought one in the 1st place.

Great Vacuum -- 2010-08-28
This vacuum is incredible. We used it almost immediately when we got it. We keep a clean house, but our vacuum prior had less horse power...the extra "umph" really kicked our cleaning experience in high gear. Highly recommend you go out & buy one of these for great cleaning.

Great Battery -- 2010-08-16
This battery realy runs a long time. I think that's about the best thing you can say about a battery. When this one dies. I will but this battery again.

Decent 3rd-party Roomba battery replacement -- 2010-08-08
I'm fairly satisfied with this battery replacement, after my Roomba's existing battery gave up, even with a power system reset. The packaging was non-descript - brown paper box with a sticker noting the NIMH 14.4V 3500MAH battery. The instruction sheet had an... interesting... translation on it, but the steps to replace the Roomba battery are fairly straightforward. Give it a shot. Cheaper than iRobot's official battery, at least.

Easy to find and order the replacement part I needed, arrived quickly and worked perfectly.

The vacuum belts are fine but they didn't get here until at least a week after the due date, some could have been our mail systems fault though.

Will gr Done -- 2010-09-06
This is a very good vacum and does what it is bragged up to do. Very pleased

Black & Decker CHV1568 -- 2010-09-02
This vacuum is as good as hand held vacuums get for under $75.00. My only concerns are the battery longevity and is Amazon a registered Black & Decker dealer that will process warranty claims. I read feedback on this unit from a few different sources and These people all had the same problems. They buy this to do big jobs with it and it doesn't work out for them very well. I use it for seconds at a time and this vacuum is the best one I have ever owned.

Miele S2 Olympus Canister Vacuum Cleaner Model S2120Miele S2 Olympus Canister Vacuum Cleaner Model S2120

This Vacuum SUCKS...In a Good Way! -- 2010-09-03
I bought this vacuum as a gift for my grandparents who have long had to put up with a vacuum that simply couldn't do its job anymore. I heard alot about the Miele brand but was not entirely sure if its as great as it claims to be. After a few chats over the telephone, my grandparents have had nothing but glowing things to say about this little sucker. Below I will share how it filled their specific needs as well as some of the minor negatives you should be aware of...

(To skip to the main points, simply read the headers of each section.)

THE GOODS:

Its a Featherweight-
My grandma has long been an old school fan of wand vacuums. No matter how light an upright vacuum advertised itself, she remarked that they are simply too heavy for her. She absolutely loves how lightweight this vacuum is and how easily the cannister follows her. There is hardly any need to yank it to make it travel around her apartment.

Turbo Jet Suction-
As I mentioned so boldly in the title, this thing sucks up dirt particles like a jet engine! My grandmother has always kept a tidy carpet but she still believes this vacuum catches debris better than any other she has used. I must say I agree, as her carpet looks fluffier and more pristine.

Hums Along Silently-
I'm not sure when the day will come when vacuums will be more silent than a mouse but relatively speaking, this one is pretty close to quiet as they come. My grandmother really dislikes how noisy vacuums not only disturb others but blast out your ears as you are using them. She is very pleased with how meekly and politely this one performs its job.

Bag it and Trash it-
One of the greatest pluses about this vacuum is how great the bag traps in dirt. The old vacuum my grandma use to have was one of those bagless ones. She is somewhat sensitive to dust and coughed quite a bit when she emptied the dirt container. This one is very simple for her to remove and throw away without suffering.

THE BADS:

Better for Small/Medium Homes-
While my grandmother pretty much said nothing but good things about this product, its generally understood that these kind of vacuums may not be the best options for bigger homes. Personally I hope we get a Miele for ourselves someday despite this fact. The only thing I would suggest is to perhaps stock up on more bags just to be safe.

Quality of Material-
This is one of the bargain Miele models and therefore the parts don't look as spiffy as the more upscale Mieles. Still though, a few scuff marks after use should not cause you to think this was made out of completely bad material. It'll just be more likely to show its battle scars.

Hose/Cord is Short-
Though my grandmother has a small apartment, I can tell the hose and cord on this machine is too short. This drawback is significantly amplified if you combine it with the "Better for Small/Medium Homes" issue. So be prepared to switch wall outlets on a regular basis or buy a nice lengthy extension cord.

At the end of the day, this vacuum is a poster child for little workhorses. It packs alot of power in such a petite package. Not to mention its small stout frame is as adorable as a puppy dog. You certainly will not regret adopting one for your household.

Good Vacuum For NYC Apartments -- 2010-08-30
I bought this vacuum because I was moving and my last vacuum (probably more than 20 years old) was on it's very last leg.

When I first received it, I was very surprised by it's size. It's tiny, compared with my old vacuum, and much lighter.

As one might expect, the weight advantage does come at a price, and the components feel very plastic-y and somewhat flimsy, though time will tell whether the plastic parts withstand general wear-and-tear over the years.

The size of the unit is also very helpful in a small Manhattan apartment, as storage is less of an issue than with a larger unit. This vacuum will tuck neatly into a small corner in a closet with no trouble. The only clumsy part of the whole kit is that there is no real storage for the attachments. They do include a little holder for the four pieces that come with the unit, but it's rather flimsy and also awkward to place.

As far as performance, this little unit really does stand up well, with very good suction all around. I think it's also slightly quieter than my old vacuum. The floor attachment does a very good job on the wood floors, as well as the tile in the kitchen and bath. The only other complaint that I have with the unit is the poor placement and function of the power button. It's at the rear or bottom of the unit (depending upon how you're placing it), and it's not an easy click because of the curved contour of the switch. It also doesn't give a pronounced "click" to confirm activation, so you have to listen for the start of the motor to know if you've actually hit it right or not, and there's a slight delay in the start up, so there's a disconcerting disconnect between the action and the expected result.

These are small nitpicks, in my opinion, and I would certainly recommend this unit to anyone considering a small, affordable vacuum.

Rating the Bissell -- 2010-09-06
Top rated by Consumer Reports, the vacuum cleaner worked as advertised. Buyers should be aware that snapping the cleaning head into the the handle device must be done smartly or the head will not stay in place. Once done properly, no problem.

Katsa -- 2010-09-03
This is a very powerful and efficient sweeper for its size. It is a little more bulky and harder to store than my previous quick sweeper. The dirt storage is easy to see when it needs emptying, and is very easy to empty and clean. The shape is unusual, but great for getting around table legs. I use it daily around the cats' litter box and it zaps-up all loose litter unlike any other small vacuum I have ever owned. This vacuum was well worth its very reasonable cost.

iRobot 530 Roomba Vacuuming Robot, WhiteiRobot 530 Roomba Vacuuming Robot, White

A high maintenance unit -- 2010-08-24
I've used roomba for about 5 years (Discovery series), it cleans fine as advertised. It's pretty cool, but it needs a constant maintenance which defeat the purpose of time saving. My roomba's 6th battery just died and I'm going back to the good old low maintenance long lasting plug in vacuum cleaner.

Pro
- it really works as it advertises

Con
- it needs to be clean after each use
- dust build up blocks the sensors, which cause it runs in circles (like dog chases its tail)
- Roomba needs to be plug-in to the charger at 24/7 when it's not being used or it could cause problems with roomba. It's not only a waste of electricity, but it also shortens battery's life. That translates into more costs in a long run. My 6 roomba batteries costed about $200+, not to mention 24/7 x 5 years of plug in charger electricity bill. Here's a quick math

$350 - Roomba
$250 - 6 batteries & filters
$200 - 5 yrs 24/7 plug in electricity(a pure guess)
#@&# - Time spent on maintenance
$800 - Total

I'm definitely going back to the good old vacuum cleaner. Goodbye Roomba.

better than 560 -- 2010-08-24
I have both model 560 and 530. I like roomba a lot as I hate doing vacuuming. Both models works really well that they pick up lots of dust from carpet (not so well on hard wood floor though as they just push the little stuff around). I prefer the 530 model better because it's easier to clean the brushes. There is this groove on the ends of the brush of the 560 model that keep accummulate my long hair and it's very hard to clear that even with scissors. And I find myself don't really do the regular schedule cleaning that 560 model has. Anyways, I love my roombas and highly recommend it!!!!

Hoover remanufactured FloorMate H3040RM -- 2010-09-05
This is the second FloorMate machine that I have purchased. The first model was purchased about 4 years ago and was somewhat smaller. The only problem I had with the earlier model was having to replace the squeegee often. I hope that part has been improved on for this model. I use this machine for cleaning the laminate wood floors throughout most of my house. Thus far I have yet to find anything that works better. However I am a little frustrated when it comes to purchasing the cleaning fluid. It seems that the product that I use to use (Old English) is no longer being made. The Hoover product is not available in stores that I patronize, Walmart, Lowes, etc. Rather than driving all over creation in an attempt to find a store which carries the product, I purchased online. The first time I used the H3040RM I had a problem with the upper tank leaking through the bottom valve. It is probably a bad o-ring or seal and it appears that the valve has to be removed from inside the tank. My hand will not fit in the tank opening, so it looks like I will have to take it to a service center.

LOVE this floor cleaner! -- 2010-08-17
I have owned a Hoover FloorMate for many years, I LOVE it, does a great job cleaning my floors, both tile and vinyl, and they dry very quickly, even quicker if I use the wet pick up. had to replace a part a year ago (clean water tank was leaking) so bought it from Hoover. This was expensive! I damaged the dirty water tank a couple of weeks ago, checked Hoover website and figured it would cost $40+ to replace including the shipping. Then saw the whole floor cleaner re manufactured on Amazon (cool and cheap products were the seller) for $42 (plus shipping)! Decided to get it and use for parts if it was in the bad shape many have described. It arrived today, earlier than the shipping was estimated, and is in great shape, the main unit looks like new, the brushes show a little wear but are very clean. Will now use my old one for parts!
