It's pain to use -- 2010-08-27
As other's have mentioned, it's loud. It's a desk fan, it's on my desk, near my ears, and it creates a lot of noise in my otherwise quiet office.
But that's not the real downside. It's the controls. They SUCK.
There is a little wheel thing near the base that you use to turn on and off and change the level. It's impossible to use with one hand, so you have to *pick the fan up* in order to turn it on/off/up/down.
Noisy on highspeed -- 2010-08-11
At night my wife uses this pretty little fan. On the low setting it is fairly quiet, but on the high setting the sound is enough to keep me awake. I have the fan sitting on a thick resilient foam pad and that does help, but the highspeed setting is usless.

Great quite small fan -- 2010-08-14
I really like this fan. It is quite, has a small footprint and delivers a lot of breeze. I would have given it 5 stars but for the knob to turn it on. It is located at the back, is round and has small indentations for your fingers. My fingers slip off and I have to hold on to the blade housing to turn it on or change the speed. I use this fan bedside and while lying down reaching over and trying to manipulate this knob is irksome. If they could change this feature it would be perfect. I still would buy another.
GREAT FAN! -- 2010-08-09
This little fan is the best! It's small, quiet and really efficient. After owning one for a few months I ordered another one to keep my audio/video equipment cool. It's much quieter than the fan in my DVR, which really gets warm. Now the DVR stays so cool that its fan never even comes on.

Inital Problems, OK Now -- 2010-08-31
Initially, this fan wouldn't work once the battery cover was place on over the batteries. After some adjustment to the contacts, it works now. This fan is good for one person needing air movement and it seems to last a good while on the batteries. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO POWER SUPPLY SHIPPED WITH THIS UNIT. We missed that when ordering. The 10" model comes with an AC power supply. Overall, this product works well but I am not sure I would buy another one due to questionable quality.
Portable Cool -- 2010-08-27
I had a 02 Cool fan & work & needed one for the craft show I was doing in mid August outside. Needless to say, it was HOT on the sidewalk & the 02 Cool fan provided me with just enough cool air to stick in out until afternoon. I usually use mine with batteries, but it's nice to have the adapter also.

Powerful, effeciant fan! -- 2009-10-23
This is the most powerful desktop fan I've ever owned. The low setting is equivalent to medium. It's not perfectly quiet, but I like white noise. Great value!
Fine Fan....But....... -- 2008-02-08
I got this fan for a fair price, and the shipping was very fast. When your hot enough, any fan seems like a gift from above. The only thing I would mention is the lowest speed available is not very low. It blows a good deal of air even on its lowest setting. If your looking for a fan that delivers a gentle breeze, look elsewear. Otherwise enjoy the gale force winds.....

One big issue -- 2010-05-29
Cons:
1. One big issue. Attempting to actually clean the screens and fan blades of this model is futile. Once the screws are out of my old, now burnt out, Lasco twin fan model, you can easily clean the screens and fan blades. I had so much difficulty prying the screens (back and front covers) open I decided it was engineered to not be opened. Thus, after a few years the fans will be junk long before they burn out.
Pros:
1. Reversible with controls on both sides of the unit.
2. Great airflow.
Recommendation: I recommend a box fan, unless you don't have room, because you can mount a 20 x 20 filter on the back, using duct tape or installing u-brackets on the back so you can slip the filter into the brackets. These dual fan's are not so easy to adapt to a filter. The filter will significantly reduce the amount of dirt on your screens and fan blades so you only have to clean them every several years, plus it'll cut down on pollen, etc. in your room.

Quiet and Stylish -- 2010-09-08
I really appreciate that this fan can be part of the decor. It simply looks great and is obviously a quality fan. We have had the table version of this fan for a few years now and were so happy that we decided to get the matching pedestal fan for another room. It did require assembly, which with two people wasn't too bad. I was a little disappointed that the piece that adjusts height was not metal, but its not obvious just looking at it and still seems to be sturdy. I love this fan and would recommend it to anyone.
Hunter 90121 oscilating pedestal fan -- 2010-09-06
Wow - I'm very disappointed with this fan's performance! I have several excellent Hunter ceiling fans that I'm very happy with. Based on that experience I ignored some warnings that other customers had posted and bought this model 90121 oscillating pedestal fan anyway. Yes it's a hassle to assemble but if you take your time it's no big deal and yes the directions are somewhat lacking but the major issue is it just doesn't move much air. It makes a lot of noise but no air flow. Heed my advise and look for another manufacturers product.....you will be happy you did so.

Very nice fan. If when you receive the fan, it makes noise when you turn it on, loosen the screws just a little on the back. Mine were just a little too tight, the two screws at the middle, but after loosing those screws just a little, now it works without noise. Very pleased.

This is a great fan. I haven't been without power which prompted me to buy the fan. I am using it corded on my nightstand to help with the "hot flashes". It appears to be as powerful on battery. I was amazed at how fast the fan was delivered. I had it within 3 days of the order. Good job...

This is a great little fan. Forget the large number of batteries needed because it comes with the recharging cord and a charge will last over 3 hours on high speed. It blows a good amount of air for such a small, compact, lightweight (without the batteries) fan and it's quiet. We bought it to be used at a hotel in the Caribbean that has an open air (non air conditioned) dining room and it worked great. In fact it was a life saver on our trip. I just ordered a second one because while it blows a lot of air, it has to be directed right at you to be effective. We thought we could both get the breeze from one fan, but that didn't work very well. We each needed one.

This is a great quality Fan, without being too big. It's small enough to move and carry around ans shove in your closet, but powerful enough to provide a cool refreshing breeze similar to those large oversized fans you see in your local laundromat! I highly recommend this fan if you need to get cooled off on a budget and don't want to buy an A/C.

I purchased this fan back in May and boy am I glad I did this has been one of the hottest summers in recent years. This powerful little fan well constructed and easy to move wherever you need to use it through the day. My son has been using it to sleep and has requested one for his dorm room so it looks like I will be purchasing another one because I can't part with it. I have owned many fans and I am totally sold on the power and design of this one.
