Good fit for Steamfast but too low -- 2010-06-12
I think the Steam-Press stand is a great fit for the SteamFast A600 but one major drawback - too low to ground. About another foot higher and it would be a great product. Mind you also that I'm well under 6 feet tall.....so, need I say more?

ITS A PERFECT FIT!; but didn't expect anything less as it's designed to be used with the SteamFast which I purchased at same time.
The stand does exactly what it is intended to do.
Only issue I have is that it is obviously designed for someone shorter. At 6' 1" I find I really can't use it without coming in contact with hot surfaces unless I am in a seated position. sitting while ironing is not something I was used to but am getting better at out of necessity.
Obviously designed to keep from tipping but a wider foot print would resolve this..telescoping stand to help elevate couple more inches would be more effective for the taller purchaser..
The vertically challenged should not have similar issues.

It leaks, it spots your silks and other delicate fabrics with water drops. The steam is unpredictable and you can stand there hoping it comes out for ten minutes at a time. Then, give up? Out it comes...all over everything. Skip this thing - it's a POS.

Love this steamer. It's sturdy, well made and doesn't take up a lot of room. Works wonderfully and so much faster than ironing! Totally recommend it!

One size does NOT fit all! -- 2010-06-27
The product arrived used and scratched with the imprint of the previous owner's iron - I was very disappointed as I had ordered a new item from Amazon. I returned the product only to be given the same item in the same (unsealed) box. I was surprised to receive such poor customer service from Amazon.
The main hesitation I had prior to ordering the ironing-mount was the fact that it did not seem to accommodate all irons. Unfortunately turns out to be true - I was hoping to use it with my new iron but it did not fit at all - the newer designed irons are far too big for it. I had to use it with my very old iron instead, which I was planning on throwing out....
Overall very disappointed. If you have a small old iron and don't mind receiving a used product then this is for you.
Good item but can find cheaper -- 2010-06-26
We ordered this when it was about $10 and had free shipping through Prime. It's fine for its purpose, but you should be able to find similar item cheaper and Target and Walmart.

I received my Black & Decker Light'N Easy Iron as a gift. I hate it!
I spend 6+ hours a week ironing for a family of four, so having a good iron is a must. This iron is lightweight, and doesn't get too hot even on max. It would be perfect except for one fatal flaw. The opening for the water reserve is awkward to use when filling the iron and even if I only fill it a quarter to max, it sloshes out water every time I move my hand. I was forced to keep a towel handy to wipe up the gushes (not dribbles) of water. I also worried constantly about inadvertently being electrocuted by the iron because of all of the water that leaks out of the opening.
I used this iron exactly the way the manufacturer intended. I have to guess that whoever designed the Light'N Easy never actually used it, or it never would have made it onto the store shelves.
There are plenty of irons in this price range that do a good job. Do yourself a favor and buy one of those, don't waste your money on the Light'N Easy.
Ordinarily I'd send something I don't need on to Goodwill, but I'm going to probably throw it out because I wouldn't give it to my worst enemy.

THIS IS THE WORST IRON I HAVE EVER USED. IT LEAKS FROM THE TOP PORT CONSTANTLY, LEAVING WATER EVERWHERE, ON MY CLOTHES, THE IRONING BOARD AND EVEN MY HAND. OF COURSE, I WILL NEVER USE THIS IRON AGAIN. I WILL HAVE TO BUY ANOTHER IRON AND IT CERTAINLY WON'T BE A BLACK & DECKER!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Helper for the Sewer -- 2010-09-04
This sleeve board is of excellent quality, and the recessed connecter allows you to press so much more than the older boards. Don't let less expensive boards fool you; they will just break under the slightest pressure (and obviously, pressing and ironing require pressure!). I do a lot of clothing sewing as well as, from time to time, ironing my son's dress shirts, and this sleeve board makes it all go so much faster.

I got my Jiffy J-2000I a couple of weeks ago. I have used it on clothes. Heats up fast, steams well, I just have to learn how use it on the tight areas without burning my hand. I haven't used the attachments yet, but so far I like it.

I purchased this item based on the great reviews... and I must say that I agree! Well, maybe I'm being impetuous because I've only used this iron one time, but so far so good! This iron doesn't leak and provides a good amount of steam. I actually don't mind ironing now!I would def recommend purchasing this iron if you're looking for a good quality iron for a decent price... two thumbs up!

Good While It Lasted -- 2010-09-05
I owned this iron for about 6 months before I had to replace it. It worked great while it lasted. However, I expected it to last longer. I particularly liked how well it steamed without dripping. Also, the steam burst and water jet functions worked VERY well. I liked the flashing lights which told me when it was up to heat or if it had stopped heating (auto shut off) while I was using it. I have pain in my hands, but found the iron easy to manuver. I did not like how the rubberized portion of the handle was on top rather than on the side your fingers grip. The chrome coating on that side wore off quickly. I also wished the iron had a retractable cord. I was very disappointed when suddenly the thing wouldn't heat unless I held it at a very odd angle. Needless to say, I couldn't iron with it at that angle. It's a shame because until then, it had been the best iron I'd owned in the last 15 years.
Do NOT buy! -- 2010-08-09
This iron only lasted about seven months before it broke down. Like someone else wrote, the steam button got stuck in the down position. Piece of junk. Don't waste your money! I gave this NO stars.

This is a great product, easy to mount works like a charm and looks very neat when folded up with cover in place. Tried all the usual places, Home Depot, Lowes, Sears,.... and found only the ones that mount in the wall. I put this item up in less than 30 minutes without destroying the wall, and my wife LOVES it. Great product. Excellent quality. My only complaint, is that the cover/covers need to be thicker !!!
Then there is one other thing I wish could be changed... that the rack at the end of the board was removable. The cord always gets caught up in the top rack.

This is a very sturdy ironing board. I love the attachment to make it square at the end. I had an old mary proctor that was my mothers ironing board that was the same way. It makes it very easy to iron shirts, you can iron each side of the shirt without doing it in sections.
